1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Neon Lines mobile arcade game, website, and related cloud services provided by the Neon Lines development team. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the game.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Neon Lines is designed for general audiences. If you are under 13 years old (or under 16 in the European Economic Area), you may only play with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Cloud Progress

You may play Neon Lines as an anonymous guest or sign in using your Google Play Games, Google Account, or Apple ID. Cloud authentication allows synchronizing your level progress, stars, unlocked stages, and records across your devices. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and credentials.

4. Fair Play, Anti-Cheat & Leaderboards

Neon Lines features competitive global speedrun leaderboards. We enforce strict fair play standards. The use of memory injectors, game speed modifiers, automated bots, modified APK/IPA binaries, physics manipulation, or fraudulent network requests is strictly prohibited. Leaderboard submissions undergo server-side geometric trajectory validation in Cloud Functions. Fraudulent runs will be automatically invalidated, and repeat offenders may be permanently banned from leaderboards.

5. In-App Purchases & Virtual Content

Neon Lines offers optional in-app digital purchases, such as the permanent "Remove Ads" unlock. All transactions are securely processed through the Google Play Store (Google LLC) or Apple App Store (Apple Inc.). Non-consumable purchases can be restored at any time via the "Restore Purchases" option in the game settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play and Apple App Store refund policies.

6. User-Generated Content & Ghost Replays

When completing levels, your ball flight trajectory data ("Ghost Replay") and public nickname may be submitted to our leaderboards to allow other players to race against your ghost. By submitting a record, you grant Neon Lines a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, and display your run trajectory and nickname in-game and on leaderboards. Nicknames must not contain defamatory, obscene, harassing, or hateful language.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All game assets, including but not limited to the 2D physics line mechanics, synthwave visuals, artwork, animations, sound effects, music compositions, logos, source code, and design elements, are the exclusive intellectual property of the Neon Lines development team. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the game on your compatible personal devices.

8. Account Termination & Data Erasure

You have the right to terminate your account and erase all your gameplay data at any time directly through the in-game Settings ("Delete Account & Data") or via our web deletion portal. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms, engage in cheating, or compromise server security.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Neon Lines is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the development team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to access the game.

10. Changes to Terms & Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect game updates or legal requirements. Continued use of Neon Lines after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
